Catch-Up

Privacy Notice

Last updated: 3 September 2026

1. Who we are

Catch-Up is a product of HSQE CONSULTANT LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12834330. Our registered office is 7 Lothing House, 7 Quay View Business Park, Barnards Way, Lowestoft, Suffolk, England, NR32 2HD.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

You can contact us about anything in this notice at privacy@catch-up.uk or by post at the address above.

2. What this notice covers

This notice covers the marketing emails we send to businesses, enquiries you make to us, and your visit to this website.

It does not cover the Catch-Up platform itself. If your organisation is a Catch-Up customer, the platform has its own privacy policy.

If you have received a marketing email from us and want to know why, section 3 is the relevant part.

3. If we sent you a marketing email

What we hold

Your company name and one business email address for your company. That is the entire record.

Where we got it

We identified companies working in construction and related trades from the Companies House public register, found each company's website using a search engine, and took the contact email address published on that website.

Companies House does not publish company email addresses, so your address came from your own website rather than from the register. We did not obtain your details from you directly. UK data protection law requires us to tell you this and to tell you where they came from.

Before sending, we removed any address belonging to a named individual rather than a general company inbox, and any address at a personal email provider such as Gmail or Hotmail. We contact general business inboxes only.

Why we process it

To tell you about Catch-Up, a platform for digital safety forms, document sign-off and workforce records, which we believe is relevant to businesses in your trade. We may send a small number of follow-up messages if you do not respond, unless you tell us to stop.

Our lawful basis

Legitimate interests. Our interest is in promoting our services to businesses likely to find them useful. We have carried out and documented a legitimate interests assessment weighing this against your rights and interests, and we will provide a summary of it on request.

We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making, and no decision about you or your company is made by automated means. We do not sell, rent or share your details with other organisations for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep marketing contact details for 12 months from the date we obtained them, or from your last engagement with us, whichever is later. After that we delete them.

If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep your email address on a suppression list indefinitely, solely to make sure we do not contact you again by mistake. This is the one piece of information we will not delete on request, because deleting it would defeat its purpose.

4. Your right to object to marketing

You have an absolute right to tell us to stop sending you marketing.

This is not a request we can refuse or weigh against our own interests. If you object, we must stop.

You can do this by:

  • clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you
  • replying to any of our emails with the word "unsubscribe"
  • emailing unsubscribe@catch-up.uk
  • writing to us at our registered office address

We will action your request as soon as possible and in any event within 5 working days. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no cost.

5. If you contact us or become a customer

If you reply to us, request a demo, or make an enquiry, we process the contact details and any information you give us in order to respond. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

If your organisation becomes a Catch-Up customer, the platform's privacy policy at [URL] explains how we handle data within the service.

We keep enquiry records for 12 months and customer records for 24 months after the end of the relationship, or longer where we need to for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Visiting this website

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare records technical information — your IP address, browser type and the pages you request — to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: keeping the site available and secure. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build any profile of visitors. Cloudflare may set a cookie to distinguish visitors from automated traffic; this is necessary for security and cannot be turned off without breaking the site.

7. Who we share your data with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions only:

  • Zoho Corporation — email hosting, sending and receiving
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and security

We may also disclose data where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.

8. Where your data is held

Our email is hosted in the European Union and this website is served by Cloudflare's global network. Our providers may access or route data outside the UK and European Economic Area to deliver their services and provide support. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy
  • rectification — have inaccurate data corrected
  • erasure — have your data deleted in certain circumstances
  • restriction — have us limit how we use your data
  • portability — receive certain data in a machine-readable format
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests, including the absolute right to object to marketing described in section 4

To exercise any of these, contact privacy@catch-up.uk. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If your request is complex, or you make several requests, we may need up to two further months. We will tell you within one month if that applies and explain why.

We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at privacy@catch-up.uk. We operate a formal complaints procedure and will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome of our consideration of it.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time. You do not have to come to us first.
